"You should never go to bed mad at your partner...." So my friend Mark went to a wedding a few months back, and he was talking with one of the couples that were there. They had been together for over fifty years. It blows my mind that people can find a love that can last that long. It means you truly have found your counter/match, and you're willing to work through the rough times just to be with one another.
I remember watching a Dane Cook skit not long ago, and in one of his jokes he talked about how women want to talk everything out all the time. But from his perspective, it would be fucking tight if you could just high five, say shit's cool, and it's a done deal. Ya know what, that would be fucking amazing. If I could get in a fight with my boyfriend, and then we both just say fuck it and high five and everything's good... I would be in the best relationship ever.
Granted, over time only shit would build up, and I'm sure we both would develop alot of anguish... and a deep hate for one another. But in the early months, it would probably be the best situatione ever.

Being a traditionalist, marriage would be ideal.
However, I never said that I was a traditionalist. Sure, marriage would be great. I personally see myself as someone who is going to get married quick, or never at all. I could just not be the marrying kind.
I believe that everyone has a "soulmate," well actually I think we all have a few. I imagine that there is more than one person on the entirey of this earth that we could spend the rest of our lives with. I think that that is truly rare now days, especially with the divorce rate steadily rising.
I would love the old fashioned romance, and a love to die for kind of thing.
I need passion to live, and I need someone worth living for.
